The winds of winter's end carried our team from Dubai's urban desert to the subtropics of Guadalajara for meaningful discussion on matters of the heart during the month of it's celebration.
Current president Zvonimir Krajcer, MD was co-program director for the 5th annual 4TS Top-to-toe transcatheter solutions, held at the Ritz Carlton in Dubai from February 12-14.  ISEVS was well-represented by members from the UAE and beyond, with many as faculty providing educational content. The UAE and surrounding countries are committed to adopting advanced technology and complex/high risk interventions. The full range of sessions included topics: coronary intervention, thrombosis anticoagulation, venous intervention, structural heart disease, iliofemoral intervention, and a joint-ISEVS session on endovascular intervention to the aorta.

ISEVS member, Chairman, and Founder of 4TS, Omar Hallak, MD confirms the strength of the UAE "The meeting boasted over 100 scientific sessions, 600 delegates, 15 exhibitors and 100 local and international speakers, positioning the interventional conference as one of the largest in the Middle East".  The distinguished scientific program included both cardiac and endovascular themes along. with a well-attended public forum "Heart Matters" aimed at informing the local community on cardiovascular risk-reduction.
ISEVS members and multi-disciplinary physicians should SAVE THE DATE for 4TS 2020, to be held from February 13-15.

In partnership with Cardiovascular Research Foundation Transcatheter Therapeutics (TCT), the "rockstars of vascular intervention" reunited for the third annual CADECI meeting at the Hard Rock Hotel in Guadalajara from February 28th to. March 2nd. As the main private event in Mexico and Latin America with 1500 speakers, attendees were offered the latest advances in Cardiology, Clinical, Cardiovascular Surgery, Echocardiography made internationally accessible with a simultaneous translation service. ISEVS members in Mexico prove to be enthusiastic with a local chapter of over 50 members. We look forward to revisiting our closest neighbor in August for HENDOLAT!
