About East Meets West 2023:
This year is the sixth edition EMW Congress and it will highlight the latest techniques and changes in current practice, in an exclusive and dynamic program consisting of 2 days of presentations, workshops and case reports, designed for cardiac and vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists and other specialists. The idea of the event started from the desire to create a setting that would bring Romanian specialists face to face with world-class key opinion leaders in the field, all together HEART SPECIALISTS at the same table. We all face challenges and difficult situations in our professional lives every day. EMW 2023 aims to come to the aid of those who want to always learn, who aim for a career of international success.Knowledge has no borders, and the opportunity to meet in an open, neutral environment, regardless of nationality and professional level, should not be missed. East Meets West event is organized by SRCET - Romanian Society of Endovascular Surgery, and supported by ISEVS – the Society of Endovascular Specialists of the USA and Europe. 
EMW 2023 will take place in Bucharest on 27 and 28 October, at the iconic InterContinental Athenee Palace Bucharest.

The event will highlight the latest directions of research, most up-to-date techniques and changes in current practice, in an exclusive and dynamic program consisting of 3 days of presentations and case reports, theoretical courses and live surgery cases, designed for cardiac and vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists and other specialists.

SUPREME LOCATION

Bucharest is the capital and largest city in Romania, and was first mentioned in documents on September 20, 1459. Besides being an administrative and economic center, it is also the starting point for the tourist destinations in Romania. French influences in culture and architecture have brought to Bucharest the surnames of “Little Paris”.
